This Week at Calvary
Calvary has “re-opened” and we are glad to welcome you to our Sunday morning worship service beginning at 10:30am each week. It has been great to be together again to worship the Lord!
Just because we are open does not mean that you should come, however. There is still a growing virus danger present in our state that will likely be with us for some time. While we are implementing safety protocols we will not be able to eliminate all risk. Each person needs to make their own decision in this. Note that our worship services will be video recorded and posted to our website by noon on Wednesday – so that is a stay-at-home option for you. Additionally, we are working on a way to send DVD copies of these video recordings to those who are not internet users.
The two documents linked below have been approved by the Calvary board. You will see a Calvary
“Preparedness Plan“ – which is required by our state as part of the reopening process. You are not required to read that document. We do ask, however, that anyone who is considering attending Calvary on a Sunday morning would read the “Letter to the Congregation“ document prior to your arrival. That letter will explain the changes that are being made for the safety of our church attenders and our community. As of July 25 face masks are now required to be worn at all indoor Calvary gatherings including Sunday morning services.
We ask that each attender will take these precautions seriously and abide by them.
With all of that said..... we are very pleased to be able to gather again for church!
Hope to see many of you there!

Pastor Eric Spickelmier
I am blessed to be the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church - a fantastic group of people who have such a heart for the Lord and for serving. May God use us more and more in the spreading of the good news of Jesus into the lives of our friends and neighbors. And may He also help us to be true family for each other. Together we are "living life to the full and looking forward to the goal!"
